Dr. Oz Detox Plan Episode with Dr. Mark Hyman

Dr. Oz Dr. Hyman Detox Plan

I found this Dr. Oz episode when searching detox on the internet. (Arbonne has a healthy lifestyle presentation about detoxing with specific vegan products and meal plans to detox the body).

Dr. Oz has developed a very creditable and influential reputation for health. Dr. Oz has many episodes about the dangerous addiction to sugar. In this episode his guest, Dr. Mark Hyman tells about his 10-day detox to burn fat and lose weight. He says, ‘’that we have to change our brain chemistry and hormones that have been directly affected by the food industry. On average, Americans intake 152 pounds of sugar and 146 pounds of refined flour a year. The food industry knows this. In fact, there is more sugar in a breakfast yogurt than a can of soda. More sugar in tomato sauce than cookies.
The food industry has hijacked our brain chemistry, hormones, and metabolism, which cause us to be addicted to sugar. This addiction is not a psychological problem, an emotional problem or lack of well power. Then the food industry blames us for being fat and un-healthy. Telling us it is about fewer calories and to exercise more. It will all be better if you eat in moderation.”

One of the main detox components that Dr. Hyman stresses is fiber in addition to removing these addictive foods.

Watch this episode.  Share this on your Facebook timeline. It is valuable information about our health.

5 Stages of Sleep

rod Healthly Living

Do you love to sleep?  Do you get enough sleep?  Why is sleep important?  Our bodies and our brain need rest and sleep.  God even took a day of rest after creating the Earth.  Starting in the 1950’s scientists had the technology to stat understanding that sleep is not just a passive activity.

Scientists learned that our brains are very active when sleeping.  The neurons in your brain fire nearly as often when asleep as when awake, and they consume almost as much energy.  Some scientists say it’s because neural circuits replay important memories when you are asleep.  This strengthens the connections among cells in those circuits, helping us form new memories, consolidate older ones, and link more recent memories to earlier ones.

Sleep helps your body rejuvenate and repair itself.  Your digestive system continues to work processing what you have taken in through the day.  At night is the time to pull the toxins out of your body.  This is the best time to let Arbonne’s Digestion Plus to work.

Read below to know your 5 stages of your sleep cycle and how it works for your body.
