My husband I married right out of college and he began working in his family’s business, which gave me the ability to stay home with our four children and volunteer in the community and at their schools. My friend gave me a skin care sample and I fell in love with the product. She suggested I take a look at the business since my husband and I were entrepreneurs. I told her no one ever made money doing that and I had no time for a cute little business selling skincare. I think I also reminded her I had a college degree. For nearly a year I said NO to this opportunity of possibilities. Then one day my husband the economics major suggested I start my own Arbonne business and shift how we shopped and start buying from our own store.   He believes the only way to create wealth and flexibility is to work for yourself. I thought he was crazy! How could I do this??? I was scared to death it wouldn’t work for me! I had an Art degree not a marketing or sales degree. But I feared the day if something ever happened to my husband because he was the main income earner. I never wanted the struggle my mom had to endure. She was a single parent working 2 jobs raising me.

Fear made me STRONGER, taught me work ethic and a desire for a GREATER LIFE worth living! So I jumped in and watched my friends that had earned the TOP level in the business. They were driving the Mercedes and I could actually touch them so I knew it was REAL!   I did what they did   and within 15 months my team and I had earned the company’s white Mercedes and Regional Vice President level. I had added a corporate income to our family’s finances while working my business on my terms around my family’s busy schedule.   So I encouraged my husband to go after his dreams and run for political office and serve the people in our community. A short 5 months after my husband was elected the ECONOMY CRASHED and our family business as we knew it would never be the same. WOW! I realized life could change in the blink of an eye . I’m so thankful for fearing the right things and not the fear of failure. That fear fueled me to grow my business bigger by sharing our Health & Wellness products and showing people how to gain more energy, reduce toxins, eat cleaner, lose weight and look and feel better.   That is empowering!!

DREAM BIGGER! Arbonne today is OUR BIG FAMILY BUSINESS ! It’s all over the world, with International Consultants and Teams and the ability to grow our business in the UK, Canada, Australia, Poland and Taiwan. Despite the economy I have been able to remain a stay home mom and run a multi-million dollar business, teaching my kids to find a vehicle to use to achieve their dreams. From the income, to the Mercedes to many earned vacations, our family is checking dreams off our dream board as we reach them and creating new and BIGGER DREAMS every day! We have no regrets! Our kids have learned the value of being your OWN BOSS & CEO. They realize you either work for your dreams or work for someone else’s.
