5 Stages of Sleep
Do you love to sleep? Do you get enough sleep? Why is sleep important? Our bodies and our brain need rest and sleep. God even took a day of rest after creating the Earth. Starting in the 1950’s scientists had the technology to stat understanding that sleep is not just a passive activity.
Scientists learned that our brains are very active when sleeping. The neurons in your brain fire nearly as often when asleep as when awake, and they consume almost as much energy. Some scientists say it’s because neural circuits replay important memories when you are asleep. This strengthens the connections among cells in those circuits, helping us form new memories, consolidate older ones, and link more recent memories to earlier ones.
Sleep helps your body rejuvenate and repair itself. Your digestive system continues to work processing what you have taken in through the day. At night is the time to pull the toxins out of your body. This is the best time to let Arbonne’s Digestion Plus to work.
